It seems movies based on Winnie the Pooh are like buses- at first nothing and then -WHAM!- two come so close together.
After the success of Goodbye Christopher Robin the buzz surrounding the family favourite, fuzzy, old bear was infectious and it soon spread to Disney. Unlike Goodbye Christopher Robin, this latest venture into Hundred Acre Woods is not based on a true story, it looks like it takes us to years later when Christopher Robin is all grown up with a family of his own, and is revisited by his old pal Pooh. Christopher Robin is played by Ewan McGregor, and also stars Hayley Atwell, Mark Gatiss with a full voice cast of Disney actors as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga and Owl.
Christopher Robin hits cinemas this Summer on the 3rd of August.
