Best Literary Manicures

By July 15, 2015Arty

If you haven’t guessed, I love all things bookish but I’m also a girl, so I do love girly things too. This would explain why I got so excited today when someone sent me a list of literary manicures; that is, manicures based on famous books, and some of them are absolutely brilliant!

I’m absolutely hopeless at painting nails, so I’m unlikely to be trying any of these out myself, although the book print one looks brilliant if anyone wants to come and paint my nails!

The detail in these Harry Potter nails is amazing, and definitely deserving of some rubies in the magical hourglass. The house badges in particular are pretty amazing in their detail.

I’m not a big fan of the book, or Dan Brown at all, I’m sorry to say but these Da Vinci Code nails are something to behold; amazing detail that would make Davinci himself proud.

Woah! Artistically these Girl With the Dragon Tattoo nails are the best by far, absolutely mind blowing in the detail.

My Droogs would just love these. The detail is amazing, and the use of such an iconic image from Clockwork Orange makes them instantly recognisable.

Love the effect of these Hunger Games nails. May the odds be ever in your favour of recreating this design.

They’re all amazing, but my mind is absolutely blown at this final manicure, taken from real book print or newspaper print. There’s even a You Tube tutorial so you can try out this unique manicure for yourself:
