Following the tragic death of chef and writer Anthony Bourdain on June 8th 2018, the culinary world was in shock. Anthony Michael Bourdain played a huge part in many foodies’ lives as a chef and television personality who travelled the world exploring food and humanity. Bourdain explored world culture, cuisine, and the human condition and produced wonderful shows and fascinating books.

Bourdain’s work was so important and popular that many of his books climbed the Amazon charts after the world heard of his passing. New fans are emerging as well as the old faithful foodies, and Bourdain’s name and legacy will live on through his writing.

Bourdain’s non-fiction works took 6 of the top 10 slots on Amazon.com’s best-seller list this weekend and a handful of signed editions have been sold on eBay for hundreds of US dollars.
