David Videcette to Release Theseus Paradox Sequel

The Detriment Coming Soon

Readers fell in love with Detective Inspector Jake Flannagan in the gripping thriller The Theseus Paradox. The breakthrough novel looked at one of the most complex cases in British history, the London terror threat and if readers thought it felt realistic on the page, it may be because David Videcette has plenty of experience in the area.

Videcette is a former Scotland Yard investigator and before his writing career, worked on a wealth on infamous cases including the London 7/7 bombings. He has 20 years experience as a British detective, and you might think that would give you inspiration for more than one novel.

Well you’d be right as it’s announced this week that the Theseus Paradox is to get a sequel! The Detriment will follow on from the Theseus Paradox, continuing the story of Detective Inspector Jake Flannagan, and while it’s not yet released, we do have a personal promise from the author that it’s coming very soon.

If you loved the Theseus Paradox, as we know many members of our community did, then you’re going to love The Detriment! Just like the first book, this is based on true events, another gritty, groundbreaking thriller!

The Theseus Paradox was released with the tagline ‘I can’t tell you the truth, but I can tell you a story’, and now Videcette has another story to tell! It’s not available on pre-order yet, but if you haven’t yet read the first book, you now have time to do so before the release of the sequel.
