Written by Chuck Palahniuk and published in 1996, Fight Club has become a modern classic and went on to become even more popular thanks to the hit film adaptation. Given its dark look at themes such as masculinity, sexuality, illness, death, and modern life, it’s safe to say that the novel is certainly not for kids. However, in this very funny video created by Mashable, you can listen to Palahniuk read a children’s version of the hit book.
Though he does his best to remain child friendly, Chuck does occasionally get a little to overzealous in his reading, especially when he gets to the part in the film where the character played by Jared Leto gets the snot beaten out of him. Whilst this children’s version of Fight Club is just a joke, we can’t help but think that it would probably very popular.
