The Boy in the Biscuit Tin is a wonderful book. If you like to amaze your friends with your tricks, this is the book you would want.

It is written by Heather Dyer and illustrated by Peter Bailey. It was first published in Great Britain in 2007. This book is full of magic and is a joy to anyone who reads it.

The author was awarded fellowship by Hawthronden Castle in 2004. There are seventeen chapters in this book.

In this book Ibby is sent by her mother to spend her time for a few days in her aunt’s house. On her first day she discovered that Francis, her cousin, had magically miniaturized himself. Though she and her other cousin Alex managed to return him to his normal size the fun is not over.

Following it are many other magic tricks like levitation, magical handkerchief, invisible coin etc and many problems for Ibby, Francis and Alex to deal with .

With the magic box can they return their uncle Godfrey? He was a magician but vanished while performing tricks at a child’s birthday. To find out more, read the book.
