Follow You Home is in a similar vein to Mark Edwards’ first solo book The Magpies. A young happy couple’s life is turned upside down and ripped into tiny pieces. However this time the couple, Laura and Danny, are having a final big holiday touring Europe before settling down to marriage and a family. But something horrendous happens as they enter Romania from which there is no escape and makes them question everything going on around them.
To start with I was very jealous of the couple’s tour of Europe. They visited all the places I want to see or want to revisit but after what they went through I won’t be doing it by inter rail!
I devoured the book, unable to put it down unless I really had to. There is always a twist in Mark’s books that explains everything and this one didn’t disappoint.
