“Electric, sexy . . . and genuinely poignant, this is a compelling story of the risks and thrills of burgeoning intimacy.”

Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist is a roller coaster, modern love story which takes place in one night as Nick and Nora get to know each other. Both characters are getting over previous relationships, heartbreak and the confusion of life.

The idea of the infinite playlist could be a metaphor for life’s continuous motion which we should accept and go along with.

The novel has a sort of playlist that you can imagine in your mind as you read. Songs are mentioned to add to a scene or just to continue highlighting Nick and Nora’s relationship and link through music. The books soundtrack is built on further in the film adaptation of the novel, starring Kat Dennings and Michael Cera.

A relatable, funny and insightful novel. An inspiring and uplifting story which reminds us that no matter what happens in life we can always find the positives and sometimes taking risks can result in something good. Beautifully written the descriptions, identifiable characters and a clever plot line make this a delightful read.
