Dave's Olde Book Shop - Redondo Beach

“Stacked from top to bottom with books galore!”

About eight years ago, I first visited Dave’s Olde Book Shop. The architecture of the previous location evoked an Old West visage, complete with ornate wooden detail.  It entranced me and everyone else who visited the shop. Dave is so knowledgeable about his trade.

Now, this past Monday, I visited the new location. (It’s in the same city, just a smaller building. Dave still owns the business but he wasn’t present that day.)

There is such a peace in this place. It’s somewhere in which a bibliophage would happily drown. Astounding how many volumes can be fit into limited space.

If a customer come with books they wish to give to the shop, they receive store credits. The new location sits on Artesia and Rindge.
