Fred and Mary Emrick established Turning Pages Books & More in 2001, soon joined by Pat Butler with 15 years of bookstore experience, Becky Spears with 11 years in book-selling, and Donna Harrison, a retired school librarian they present a friendly and knowledgeable human side to the store.
A full service independent bookstore with an eclectic assortment of books in the categories of fiction, biography, history, classical literature, Civil War, African-American, gardening, collectables, southern authors, regional, religion, inspirational fiction, cookbooks, political, and children’s books if they don’t have it in stock, they’ll get it, and if you’re not sure what it is you want, they’ll steer you in the right direction without being pushy.
Oh and they have a store dog called Sugar!
