There are two Waterstone’s stores in Central Birmingham and the flagship store on New Street is an eclectic delight and a treat to the senses. While not an indie bookshop you’re still in for a treat. The building was once a bank and the high, vaulted ceilings and grander make it almost church like with sweeping staircases between floors. A truly beautiful place to browse and buy books.
