Donald Trump Picture Book to Publish Next Month

A picture book for children about the US President titled Dear Donald Trump is to hit the shelves next month in the UK. The book, written by Sophie Siers and illustrated by Anne Villeneuve will be published on November 1st and is available for pre-order now in the UK and is already available to buy in some parts of the world.

The picture book is about a boy called Sam, he has to share a room with his brother and he doesn’t like it very much. When he sees President Trump on the television talking about building a wall he decides that would be the answer to all his problems and decides to write Donald Trump a letter. What ensues is a conversation about living alongside others in times of conflict.

The book is already published in New Zealand, Australia and in the US in hardback and a hardback version will be out in the UK on 1st November with paperbacks to follow in March 2019.

It can be especially hard to discuss current events with children but this book shows Sam framing world politics around his own children, and will hopefully give your own children relatable comparisons with every day life, and history.
