It’s announced today that author of A Series of Unfortunate Events Daniel Handler – writing as Lemony Snicket – is to release a new book later this year. The Bad Mood and the Stick promises to wow readers in truly Lemony Snickett style.
The Bad Mood and the Stick will be Lemony Snicket’s thirteenth published book after A Series of Unfortunate Events and other works.
The Bad Mood and the Stick will be illustrated by respected artist Matt Forsythe, who is a lead designer on Cartoon Network show Adventure Time. The book is a deadpan tale looking at the mysterious and unexpected ways that bad moods travel along the world.
In case you didn’t know, bad moods are very contagious and can be passed along as easy as a cold, but as Snicket shows us in this lovely tale, all bad moods can be chased off with a stick, so long as you’re determined enough.
