Win A Signed Copy of Black Feathers by Joseph D’Lacey

Horror Haikus

We have another competition for you and this coming week we are giving away a copy of Black Feathers by Joseph D’Lacey. Black Feathers is the first in the Black Dawn series and Joseph will personally sign the winning copy and write a personal message for the winner!

Black Feathers is a modern fantasy set across two epochs, at the time of an environmental apocalypse, at 416 pages it’s a decent chunk of a book too and if you like what you read you’ll be pleased to know that book two The Book of the Crowman is already out!

Now Joseph D’Lacey is well known as a horror writer and so we’re basing this competition about that genre. As usual we want you to flex your creative muscles so the theme of this competition is ‘Horror Haikus’.

The Internet defines a Haiku as “a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.

You have until midnight on Sunday 3rd May (UK) to send in your entries via email with HORROR HAIKU in the title. When I have received all the entries I will turn them into images and upload all of them to the Horror Haiku album and give the rest of you the following week to vote on your favourites by liking the haikus that are your favourites.

On Friday 8th May at 10pm (UK) I will go through the entire album and the haiku with the most likes wins the signed copy of Black Feathers.

And the question that gets asked every time… ‘Yes, the competition is open worldwide.’

A huge thank you to Mr D’Lacey for taking the time to offer up a signed copy, we’re really excited to be involved in the giveaway with the man Stephen King says ‘Rocks!’.

Good luck everyone, I can’t wait to see your entries!
