Italian Winery Wraps Bottles with Short Stories

By November 15, 2016Culture, News

What better way to relax after a long day than to settle down in a comfy chair with a glass of wine and a good book? The Matteo Correggia winery in Italy has combined wine and literature and now sells red and white wine with a short story wrapped around the bottle.

Each short story is carefully paired with each bottle in order to ensure your glass of wine complements the story, and visa versa. This excellent idea was designed by Reverse Innovation and each bottle is 375ML, so you can drink your wine without becoming too drunk to read!

Stories are submitted by journalists, humorists, and anonymous writers and are bound to the bottle by twine.

The high quality print comes on equally high quality paper to give your bottle of wine the look, feel, and taste worthy of even the most well read drinkers.

The wine is inspired by the word “oenological”, which means the study of wine, and the creators said of the idea: “Today we read books on computers, tablets and mobile phones, why not on a bottle of wine?”

You can check out the video below to see how the idea came to life:

What else would you like to see come packaged with a short story?
