Cwts Club August – Double Book Bonus

Child 44 & Go Set a Watchman

We always choose the most selected book for our Cwts Club but after a discussion in this group this month I’m going with the consensus and we’re selecting the second book in the list for our Book club read this August. Go Set a Watchman got by far the most votes, but as everyone who really wanted to read it did so during during July we’re having Child 44 for our book club selection. However, as we want to please everyone, I’m also going to open a discussion event for Go Set a Watchman, you’ll receive a notification if you’re a member of the Cwts @ Reading Addicts.

I hope the solution is good for everyone, and if this works out well and we get lots of interaction we may make this a regular feature for the Cwts club but we’ll see how we go. The discussion for the main book, Child 44 will be open mid-month but I’ll open the Go Set a Watchman event very soon, look out for a notification from the group.

Both books are available on the links but as always we suggest supporting your local bookshop or library. I’ve had Child 44 on the to be read pile for ages so I’m hoping to join in this month and read something out of my comfort zone!
