Our double book feature in the Cwts Club worked really well for August and so I’ve decided to make t a regular feature. As readers now we keep messing with the format so it suits everyone as much as possible and having two books is a great way to accommodate everyone in the group. This month, A Man Called Ove (no spoiler review) claims top spot on the group vote with 58 votes and for the second book I’ve put all the names in a hat and chosen We are not Ourselves by Matthew Thomas, just to add in a bit of randomness!
If you’re new to the whole bookclub idea then we host the bookclub within the Cwts at Reading Addicts, our smaller Facebook group and it’s from here you’ll receive an invitation to the discussion event.
Both books are available on the links below, as always we recommend supporting your local bookshop or library, but if you do wish to purchase online then you can follow our links for convenience.
Look out for the invitation to the event page around mid-month, once everyone has a chance to read their chosen book, or both if they feel like it! Please keep spoilers from the main group page in consideration of other members who are still reading, and be aware that the event page is very likely to contain spoilers so don’t join until you have finished reading.
