These beautiful scarves are a perfect gift for her during the cold season. They feature a range of different designs, so you’re sure to find one to suit her personally – whether she’s a Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings fan, or prefers a classic Jane Austen novel – they even accommodate to the GOTs, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who fans. The personalised scarves are even handmade, adding a special touch to the gift.
If you’re looking for the perfect book for a mother or wife, look no further. ‘Things We Left Unsaid’ by Zoya Pirzad is the perfect pick. The protagonist, Clarisse, is a stay-at-home mother, in her late thirties. The story is based in Iran, before the Iranian Revolution, and sees Clarisse battle with issues of motherhood, marriage, ethnic identity and love. Whilst the book is based in Iran, it reflects issues that any frustrated suburban housewife from the U.S. or UK would face – whilst also being heartfelt, touching and humorous – making the perfect gift for her.
These butterfly bookmarks make a beautiful stocking filler for her. They come in a pack of 14, meaning there are a rainbow of colours. They feature a flower on each, topped by an elaborate 3D butterfly. They really do look gorgeous perched upon her book, to save her page.
We know that there’s nothing better than being cosy whilst reading a book – which is why these mermaid tail blankets make a perfect gift for her. We personally love the rainbow coloured tail – but there are lots of colours to choose from – so pick her favourite colour.
These hoodies are also a perfect gift during the cold season for her – especially if she’s always stealing your hoodies! She can really flaunt her love for books in the ‘bibliophile’ hoodie – perfect for ‘a lover of books; one who loves to read, admire and collect books’. We also love the ‘Don’t talk to me, my favourite character just died’ hoodie – relatable to any book lover.
If she loves to relax and indulge whilst getting lost in a book, this Bamboo Bathtub Caddy Tray is the perfect gift. Most importantly, the tray features a reading rack – which is suitable whether she reads books, from her kindle or her tablet.
This thoughtful music box is a cute gift for any of your Harry Potter fanatic females. Once the crank is turned, the delicate harry potter tune will be music to her ears. There’s also a Game of Thrones and Beauty of the Beast music box featured in the shop, if that’s what she prefers.

I absolutely loved it, and I know much of the team did too and brilliant storylines aside, I loved the fact that Amanita, played by Freema Agyeman worked at the City Lights Bookstore, meaning it was featured in various episodes. And if you were hanging out for more bookstore references there was a second one with a mention for Shakespeare and Co in the finale too! Read More
As the New York Public Library reports, Martin has given us not one, but two lists of books he feels we should read, fantasy and general fiction, so there should be something for everyone here.
“I’m often asked what I’m reading, watching, and listening to, so I thought I might share a short list from time to time,” he wrote. It’s admittedly a slightly heavier list than what I’ll be reading over the summer.” Read More
