On 6th February 1935 the first Monopoly set was sold, spawning a game that for generations would be loved and hated in equal measure. For a very long time, no changes were made to Monopoly, the game stayed traditional but in recent times we’ve seen many collectors editions and some of those have been based around your favourite books and literary characters!

So to mark the anniversary of the sale of the first Monopoly set, today we’re taking a look at all the best literary Monopoly boards that you can get your hands on!
