Check Out This Harry Potter Monopoly Board!

By | Arty, Inspired by Literature | No Comments
Jenna, a blogger for Bored Panda and now the creator of Harry Potter Monopoly, is probably one of the best friends a person can have.

When her Potterhead friend lamented about the lack of Harry Potter Monopoly Board, Jenna decided to take it upon herself to create one. In addiction to a brilliant, creative mind the project took over 80 hours of work. In her blog Jenna takes us through each step of the process from creating the board layout to spray painting Disney pieces for the hotels and houses.  Since she wanted an authentic Potter look, she used Knuts, Sickles, and Galleons instead of Monopoly money. Inspired! It is such a wonderful idea, and would prove to be so popular due to Pottermania that Monopoly would be mad not to jump on board!

Check out the fantastic gift below, and visit Jenna’s blog to see how she did it!

By | Children's Literature, Inspired by Literature, News | No Comments
British budget department store Primark is about to make all your dreams come true with a range of Harry Potter Christmas baubles and decorations. The Christmas trees at Hogwarts are a sight to behold and most of us have a fairly strong visual image of Hagrid putting them all into place. Sadly Primark isn’t promising real live fairies, or Hagrid to deliver the tree, but you could still have a magical Christmas and without breaking the bank too! Read More

Book Themed Burgers on Bob’s Burgers Season 1 – 5.

By | Inspired by Literature, Television | No Comments
Bob’s Burgers is an animated sitcom set in a fictional seaside community and surrounds the Belcher family who run the local burger restaurant. The Belchers are Bob and Linda- the parents- and their children Tina (obsessed with butts and ponies), Gene (the goofball and musical fart machine), and Louise (possibly a psychotic evil genius).

The family restaurant, Bob’s Burgers, is run by the whole family and everyone helps where they can from refilling napkin dispensers to repeatedly sitting on new chairs to release the squeaky fart noises before customers can use them.
