A Wedding Amongst The Books

The perfect wedding for many reading addicts would be held in a library or bookstore. To be surrounded by both the people and the objects you love the most sounds heavenly! There would be no need for flowers- who would want floral scents to mask the musty-vanilla of our papery companions? Just push the tables aside and there would be plenty of room for dancing and celebrating.

That is exactly what one couple did in New York City.

On the first of December 2017, among the rare books section of The Strand bookstore, two people who were very much in love made their vows in front of family and friends. Adam J. Kurtz and Mitchell Kuga eschewed traditional ceremonial practices for a service that included the guests through the ritual, the entertainment was brought to them by a drag queen singer, and a low-key dance space provided for those who wanted to shake their stuff in honour of the sweet couple.

Thanks to The Daily 360, and with help via technology from Samsung, their wedding video is an interactive affair where we are able to scan around the room via our computer.

Watch the video below for an insight into the wonderful day and share the love!
