10 Obsolete Words that have no Place in the Past

By March 2, 2015September 27th, 2017Language

Words have always come in and out of fashion, but every now and then you see a forgotten word and wonder why it fell out of usage!

Today I stumbled across this list of 10 obsolete words that we should bring back into usage. I especially love cad, stinkard and braggart.

You can keep selfie and twerk, we need these words back please! We should start a campaign! Now stop the blatteroon, be a bawcock, and get this sorted before overmorrow.

I’m going to struggle to find a way of slipping “spanghew” into conversation.

Overmorrow and Yestereen make perfect sense and I need to try and use them, if only to confuse people…fantastic words

We have blatteroon inhabiting the White House. I hear he does not drink but is potvaliant which makes that hard to believe. An aeolist that has convinced millions that he is fighting for the masses. I can only hope for a better overmorrow in my future and that of those who feel much despair with the blatteroon at the helm
