Amazon Prime to Create Good Omens Experience

Fans of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens will be more than familiar with the angel Aziraphale’s love for books and the A.Z. Fell & Co. ‘bookshop’ where he stores his precious collection but never actually sells a single book.

Michael Sheen stars as the Arziaphale in the six-part TV adaptation by Amazon Prime which is set to drop on Amazon Prime video 31st May (and BBC later in the year). To celebrate its UK premier, Amazon Prime are recreating the bookshop for a one weekend only event in London.

The exhibit will be built in a Victorian townhouse in Soho. It will be spread out across five floors where fans will be able to explore replicas of Good Omens sets, see props and costumes, original artwork and on-set drawings from portrait artist Lorna May Wadsworth, and even take part in an escape room. Plus, parked outside will be 1934 Bentley Derby coupé, the car owned by Aziraphale’s rival and friend, the demon, Crowley.

The full experience can be found at 19 Greek Street, London, W1D 4DT and is open to the public on 1st and 2nd June. It is free to all on a walk-in basis, the opening times are 11am – 7pm on Saturday 1st June and 11am – 5pm on Sunday 2nd June, and given the excitement around the book and adaptation alike we expect that queues will be very likely.

The escape room part of the experience is also free to the public and booking is recommended, sadly this is now sold out, however, their website suggests that some walk-ins on the day will be available. To find out more, head to the Eventbrite site.
