Alice Feeney’s Sometimes I Lie to be Adapted for Television

By March 29, 2017New Releases, News, Television

We have some fantastic news today for fans of Alice Feeney’s bestselling debut thriller Sometimes I Lie, as the rights to the television adaptation have been hotly bid for this week. Yesterday Californian firm Legendry Entertainment bought the rights to adapt the thriller for a six figure sum.

We see lots of television adaptations but this one is a little different, and that’s because it’s just a week since the novel was published, which is virtually unheard of and bodes well for the reception the book, and the adaption is likely to get!

As such there’s a good chance you won’t have heard of the novel. Sometimes I Lie was published earlier this month by Harper Collins, but isn’t yet released in the US (although readers can buy the Harper Collins publication from Amazon.com).

Before it was even published the book was hotly anticipated in English speaking countries and beyond, and translation into at least eight languages has already been confirmed. The psychological thriller is described as unnerving, twisted and utterly compelling.

There’s no news yet as to where the adaptation will be shown, production hasn’t even started yet but that does mean you have plenty of time to read the newly released book before its brought to life on screen.
