Yesterday it was reported that HarperCollins US imprint Dey Street is publishing a biography of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and it’s said to be written by two journalists with the couple’s cooperation.
Reports from the Mail on Sunday last week are that the biography will be called Thoroughly Modern Royals: The Real World of Harry and Meghan. The paper reported that the biography is written by journalists Omid Scobie, one of the couple’s favoured journalists, and the American journalists Carolyn Durand,
While Harry and Meghan were trying to make the move to carve out anew life for themselves, the current pandemic has put a spanner in the works for their plans, so while we have waited to see how the couple will find their place in the world after giving up their royal titles, we may have to wait a little longer. It seems the biography too has to be carefully timed, and an original June release has now been moved back to 11th August.
Of course all this is conjecture, as both HarperCollins and the Royal couple has declined to comment so far on the biography, and with no pre-order details available yet on Amazon we will just have to wait and see.
