Love Island’s Iain Stirling announces book release!

Scottish comedian Iain Stirling has become best known as the cheeky voice behind ITV2’s Love Island. The 30 year old’s comedy ambitions started to blossom at university where he was eventually declared Paramount Funniest Student and Chortle Student Comedian Of The Year.

After his success on the UK comedy circuit he was hired by Children’s BBC, and eventually ITV decided his quips and banter were perfect for Love Island.

Stirling’s debut book Not Ready To Adult Yet is out now- its release coincided perfectly with the new season of the dating show.

The book will be published on August 23rd and guarantees a humorous examination of Stirling’s generation- ‘Millennials’- and whether we truly are “self-obsessed, work-shy, mollycoddled, egomaniacs; or just a misunderstood generation with a crippling fear of failure”.

Publishers Harper Collins have said the book is: “Funny, provocative and full of his trademark razor-sharp wit, this is Iain’s guide to what life is really like for millennials and how they can navigate it better.”

A weekly podcast will also be launched in June, in which Iain Stirling talks to comics, friends, and even his own mum about themes within the book.

Stirling has arranged to perform for three nights at the Edinburgh Fringe entitled Iain (Stirling) Does Jokes (With Pals) at the EICC. As if that isn’t enough Sterling action he then hits the road for 24 more dates of his tour show  U Ok Hun? X.
