It’s been quite the week here in the Welsh capital as we celebrate the success of Geraint Thomas, the first ever Welsh Tour de France winner. Thomas has become a household name in less than a week and now he’s releasing a new book with Quercus for The Tour According to G.
Thomas, who is affectionately known as “G” will tell his story about how he came to Tour de France success, a tale of broken bones, crashes and bad luck that ended with glory in France in July. Quercus publishing says that The Tour According to G is the inside story of one of the most thrilling and heart-warming tales in sport and the narrative will be filled with Thomas’ words and insight into the race and the key characters that surround him.
The book will be the second in a two-book deal, Thomas already published a warts and all insight into the life of a pro-cyclist in 2015 and The World of Cycling According to G has seen a spike in sales this week.
Geraint Thomas has spoken several times about the disbelief he still feels after his success and says he cannot wait to relive the thrills and adventures and inside stories from the Tour de France.
The book will be released as a hard cover on 1st November 2018 and will cost £20.
