If you’re eagerly awaiting the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods then we have some news today as the first poster for the show is released. The novel is being adapted by Starz in the US and will be available in the UK to Amazon Prime viewers, and we have the premiere date for the first season!
The first episode of American Gods will air on 30th April 2017, announced this week with the poster below.
The poster is brilliant and as a fan of the book, I am now highly excited about the release of the show. It’s one of my favourite fantasy books, and here’s hoping it’ll stay true to the book because we suspect Gaiman fans will be critical.
The first trailer was released last summer and it looks fantastic!
If you haven’t yet read the book, you have time to do so before the premiere airs on 30th April to do so. The adaptation will spread the story over several seasons, and that should allow them to stay true to the rather long narrative in the novel.
