Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit children’s stories have come to epitomise the quintessential British countryside, and the young rabbit’s adventures have inspired readers far beyond the British Isles. Last year, a Peter Rabbit animated film was released, and featured comedian James Corden as the voice of the titular character. If you and your young ones enjoyed that outing then you’ll be pleased to learn that a new adventure is on its way, and the first teaser trailer has been dropped.
The film will see Corden return as Peter, as well as Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie, and Elizabeth Debicki reprising their roles. Rose Bryne and Domhnall Gleeson, who played live action characters, will also return. The trailer’s description reads:
In Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, the lovable rogue is back. Bea, Thomas, and the rabbits have created a makeshift family, but despite his best efforts, Peter can’t seem to shake his mischievous reputation. Adventuring out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his mischief is appreciated, but when his family risks everything to come looking for him, Peter must figure out what kind of bunny he wants to be.”
