Regé-Jean Page to Appear on CBeebies Bedtime Story

Regé-Jean Page, best known for his recent role as the Duke of Hastings in Netflix’s Bridgerton, will be making his CBeebies Bedtime Story début on Mothering Sunday. CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on daily at 6.50pm and Regé-Jean Page will feature on Sunday 14th March.

The actor will be reading Rain Before Rainbows by Smriti Halls and illustrated by David Litchfield. It is a story about a girl and her companion, a fox who travel from a place of loss and despair towards the rainbows, the hope of colour, light, life and happiness. Along the way, the pair find other friends who guide and support them. It is a tale with a positive message of hope for anyone who has gone through a tough time, therefore, it is a great story time book for during lockdown.

Following Regé-Jean Page, on Monday, CBeebies Bedtime Story will see singer Rag‘n’Bone Man reading My Dad Used to be So Cool by Keith Negley which is a humorous story about a dad who was in a band but who no longer thinks he’s the cool guy he once was until his son reminds him that he’s cool in his child’s eyes.

Then, on Tuesday 16th March, actress Felicity Jones will read The Huffalots, by Eve Coy. Followed by the return on Tom Hardy on Thursday 18th March, reading a brand new story Somebody Swallowed Stanley by Sarah Roberts and Hannah Peck.

Finally, to finish the week, a very special reader – to be announced soon – will be reading a story in support of Comic relief.
