Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is showing plays for free online

Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is offering to stream free plays on their YouTube channel.

In order to help keep people sane while they are stuck at home during the COVID19 lockdown, many companies are offering to provide free or discounted services. Authors, celebrities, and entertainers are finding ways to stream book readings, plays, musicals, and shows from to watch from the comfort and safety of your home.

As you may know already, The Royal Shakespeare Company is also helping entertain the world by running a free trial of their online streaming service for theatre lovers but if that is not enough, head over to The Globe Theatre on YouTube to watch plays for free for a whole month.

One play will be streamed every two weeks until the end of June starting on the 20th of April with Romeo and Juliet.
