New Book to Claim “Trump is Russian Asset”

By July 27, 2018New Releases, Political

We’re living through some extraordinary political times the world over and as such this year has been a bumper one for political nonfiction books. Today we hear that publishers Transworld is publishing a new, explosive book next month that claims that the President of the United States is actually a Russian asset.

House of Trump, House of Putin: The Untold Story of Donald Trump and the Russian Mafia is authored by Craig Unger and American journalist and author. It’s not his first foray into political writing, he also explored conflicting loyalties of US President George W Bush in House of Bush, House of Saud published in 2004.

The explosive book to be published on 14th August and available for pre-order now will claim that Donald Trump was successfully targeted by Russian operatives affiliated with the Russian Mafia over a number of decades in order to implant a Russian asset in the White House. The book is being billed as a chilling story that confirms American paranoia about Russian malevolence and as the ‘First comprehensive investigation into the decades-long relationship among Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and the Russian Mafia that ultimately helped win Trump the White House’.

The story begins back in the 1970s when Trump was first making his mark in New York real estate and follows the businessman turned president up to his inauguration, a moment described by the book’s blurb as ‘the culmination of Vladimir Putin’s long mission to undermine Western democracy.

However you feel about today’s politics, I think we can all agree that this is likely to be one of the most explosive books of 2018.. If it’s of interest to you then it’s on pre-order now and out on 14th August.
