You’ve heard of desert island discs, and we’ve adapted that idea to get a definitive desert island books list, made up of the books you have chosen as the books you’d want if you found yourself stranded on a deserted island. It’s not an easy question and many of you couldn’t narrow it down to a single book. Don’t worry we counted all your books and from your votes we have a list.
Thanks to all of those who suggested raft building and survival guides, very droll but not quite what we were looking for for this list. All votes for religious books are also noted but not included in this list (more than 20 of you choose the book of your religion).
