We started at 1918, bringing you the bestselling books of the last one hundred years. We’re moving along now and we’re starting to get close to what will be the end of this blog series as today we feature 2002

2002 saw the release of the adaptation of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Halle Berry became the first black woman to collect the Best Actress prize at the Academy Awards, Michael Jackson dangled his baby from a balcony. In world news the euro become currency, the Queen Mother died in the UK, and the Mars Odyssey found sign of water ice deposits on Mars.

So here they are, the ten top selling books of 2002. We’re also featuring some well known books that didn’t make the cut!
