The Bestselling Books of the Last One Hundred Years: 2011

We started at 1918, bringing you the bestselling books of the last one hundred years. We’ve had a bit of a pause, so sorry about that, I guess the pandemic is likely to appear on a blog like this in the future when we discuss the books of 2020. However, for now, we’re at 2011 so not long to go and here we have that year’s bestsellers.

2011 was a big year for news from the Arab Spring to the death of Osama Bin Laden, the Fukishima earthquake, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, Norway massacre, and many, many other major events.

Among all that there were plenty of books published too. So here they are, the ten top selling books of 2011. We’re also featuring some well known books that didn’t make the cut!
