The Bestselling Books of the Last One Hundred Years: 2013

We started at 1918, bringing you the bestselling books of the last one hundred years, and we’re now into the period since we launched For Reading Addicts. Today we’re up to 2013 so not long to go and here we have that year’s bestsellers.

2013 saw a great deal of notable deaths including Nelson Mandela, Margaret Thatcher and Hugo Chavez. Plus the pope resigned and a large meteorite hit Russia.

Among all that there were plenty of books published too. So here they are, the top selling books of 2013, and there wasn’t even ten notable books!

We’re also featuring some well known books that didn’t make the cut!

The only other noteable release from 2013 is the English translation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Americanah.
