The Bestselling Books of the Last One Hundred Years: 2014

We started at 1918, bringing you the bestselling books of the last one hundred years, and we’re now into the period since we launched For Reading Addicts. Today we’re up to 2014 so not long to go and here we have that year’s bestsellers.

2014 saw some big events around the world. An ebola outbreak in Africa had us all concerned about the possibility of a global outbreak. Border friction between Crimea and Russia had us all feeling shades of the Cold War. The world also suffered some well known losses, in the form of Robin Williams, and Joan Rivers.

Among all that there were plenty of books published too. So here they are, the top selling books of 2014, and there wasn’t even ten notable books!
