Top Twenty Books to Soothe the Soul

We wanted to know which books you felt soothed you. Not particularly Religious texts but perhaps books that carried a spiritual message, something that calmed you and left you feeling whole again.
We had some very interesting answers and the top ten certainly weren’t the titles I’d have imagined you choosing.
Enjoy.

The Chronicles of Narnia was your top pick; perhaps not spiritual in the true sense of the word but it definitely fulfils the need of good triumphing over evil and of course there is the comfort of returning to a childhood friend.
