During one of our regular early morning chats (I’d call it a meeting but that would be a grand term for what is actually just a moan/rant/catchup over Facebook Messenger) I mentioned to Kath that I was having problems reading, a great hardship as this is how I usually fall asleep each night.
I, like just about everyone else on this planet, have so much other stuff on my mind that concentrating on my book is at times almost impossible.
Kath agreed that she too is having the same issue and the conversation came round to re-reading, something easy, something comforting, could this be the solution? I decided to ask the members of The Cwts at Reading Addicts if they were feeling the same way and what their favourite go to comfort read would be.
We had lots of mentions for Harry Potter, not just the physical book but also the audiobook. The book is so familiar and the dulcet tones of Stephen Fry narrating are pure joy.
