My New Year’s Resolution for 2021 is to read more poetry. So, this new series of quizzes, will take a poem by a famous poet on his or her birthday and ask you to fill in the missing words. The poem is presented in order, as written. The poem for this quiz is Mack the Knife by playwright and poet Bertolt Brecht whose birthday is on February 10th. The poem, which is so famous as a popular jazz standard began life as a poem in 1928.
