Goombah (noun) (informal)
Strictly North American. An associate or accomplice, usually a senior gang member.
Origins unknown, possibly a dialect alteration of Italian compare ‘Godfather, friend, accomplice’.
“He’s the goombah, you’ll have to speak to him.”
Something or someone that one vehemently dislikes/ A strong curse.
