World Book Day is great for promoting literacy but it is also just a lot of fun.
Parents and children alike get into the celebration by creating or buying costumes of their favourite book characters. Some can be a little tenuous, but as long as there is a book based on them- any person from the world of literature is fair game!
World Book Day 2020 was as wonderful as usual with millions of children and adults enjoying a day to dress up and show off their favourite bookish characters. From Mary Poppins to Florence Nightingale the list is as vast as it is eclectic!
Let us know which you think are the best- and worst- of this year’s entries!
