When it comes to writing novels you won’t get a much more prolific author than James Patterson. With over 145 novels to his name there is bound to be something in his bibliography to entertain you.
We have taken a look through his book list for you and selected 5 titles we think you’d enjoy if you’ve never tried Patterson before.
Along Came A Spider: Alex Cross #1
Acquaint yourself with one of the modern greats of the detective world; Alex Cross is a Washington based detective, properly gritty and always in the right or maybe wrong place at the right time. Alex is the man who made Patterson famous.
Another of Patterson’s classically co written Private Investigators is US Marine Jack Morgan who runs Private, a renowned investigation company with branches around the globe. It is where you go when you need maximum force and maximum discretion.
Cradle and All
Two teenagers, both virgins and both pregnant one with the son of God and one with the son of Satan; Both in terrible danger. Private detective Anne Fitzgerald suddenly has the case of a lifetime and quickly finds herself caught between the certainty of science and the possibility of a miracle that could stop terrible medical epidemics sweeping the globe. A stand alone novel written by Patterson as the sole author.
Hide and Seek
Will Shepherd was Maggie’s second husband. A magnificent athlete and film star, he was just as famous. But Will had dark, dangerous secrets that none of his fans could have imagined… that his own wife could never have dreamed of. Now she’s on trial for his murder and the murder of her first husband. Another stand Alone novel that was penned by Patterson without the aid of a co author.
James Patterson is often criticised for his habit of co authoring his novels but I say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it and as one of the top selling authors of all times, I’d say his modus operandi doesn’t require fixing.
