“One of those rare books, unique quality to render the reader physically incapable of removing themselves from its pages.”

Wonderful Night Mara novel, I strongly recommend reading it.

This book was so good I read it in two sittings. While short, it explores many topics, like that of absent fathers, bipolar depression, drug use, and childhood trauma, all while staying incredibly funny.

The musical references were great too, especially Mel and Jameson’s conversations about The Beatles–those were my favorite parts.

Putting words with a powerful yet darkly hilarious tone and unique quality. Spreading over to other genres, this thriller had me turning the pages wondering up until the end, even though it was always there.

From the beginning to the end that book is by far one of my favorite reads of 2015. The author’s name is Romina D’Alessandro, she was born in Uruguay, living in the U.S and denoting that she was enriched from both cultures.

I can’t wait for more from this up and coming author.
