A good book should hook you in within the first 20 pages and the writer should convey the storytelling with truth, exactly what this book does.

The Mind Detective is not just another self-help book peddling miracles and mindset mantras, it is a powerful memoir within a self-therapy guide for the reader, based on the extraordinary journey of the writer.

I was riddled with anxiety, drinking too much, living behind a mask, miserable desperately seeking the secret to how I could change, then I came across The Mind Detective publication date August 15th, through a PR friend who asked me to review it before its release date.

It is like no other book I have read before, dedicated to Carl Jung. A truly powerful tale of losing self made millions in the stock market crash, near-death, homelessness and ending up in dying in a shelter in Compton LA. Shirley the writer learned how to recover, reinvent and renew her own mind madness through the teachings of Carl Jung, to self-actualize today a whole individual human being, She is passionate about updating his important work in this modern day world to help others discover good mental health and true happiness without relying on materialism and self gratification.
