Atlantis Books is located in the idyllic whitewashed town of Oia, on the island of Santorini. The shop is a charming independent bookstore founded by a group of bibliophile friends in 2004.

If you’re heading to Santorini on holiday, and why wouldn’t you, the whole island is beautiful, then make sure you head in and take a look. There’s a generous selection of fiction and non-fiction books in many languages and escaping to the cool basement bookshop is perfect on those hot, Greek summer days.

The Greek Villa that is Atlantis Books also hosts many literary evenings, theatre performances and open-air cinema viewings on the ocean terrace. The shop is worshipped by the ex-pat community of Greece and is a beautiful bookish sanctuary.
