Old Book Alley - Busan

“50 odd book sellers in an alley in Busan, Korea.”

The so-called Bookshop Alley is in Bosu-dong, Busan and it’s thriving having established itself after WWII. The book alley comprises around 50 sellers and although titles are mainly in Korean there are quite a few English titles too. Book Alley is the only used book alley in the country and often hosts literary and cultural events. Understandably the Book Alley has become a tourist attraction and the number of English text has increased over the years. Whether you can read all the books or not, this is a bibliophile’s heaven, but be aware it gets busy!
