Opening on Cow’s Lane in Temple Bar in 2009 The Gutter Bookshop is an independent store that aims to provide something a bit different from the range you find in large chain bookshops, as well as offering the opportunity to discover something new and exciting that you’ll struggle to uncover on a internet bookshop search.
They hold lots of book themed events, readings and book clubs, they have a lovely area set aside for children to sit and read and the staff picks are a favourite of locals.
In 2013 Gutter Bookshop opened a second shop in Dalkey, a seaside village in South Dublin.
