Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction 2016 Longlist

The Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction which began in 1996 is awarded annually and celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in women’s writing  throughout the world. This year’s longlist was announced on March 8th and the Shortlist is to be announced on April 11th

The winner receives a cheque for £30,000 and a limited edition bronze known as a ‘Bessie’, created by the artist Grizel Niven.
