The Largest Ever Harry Potter Store is Opening in Manhattan and it’s Visible to Muggles!

The Roaring Twenties may be upon us but there has been no sign of any magical creatures yet, but all that may be about to change this summer! We’re preparing for the most magical summer ever seen as the largest ever Harry Potter store opens in Manhattan!

The flagship store will be set over three storeys with a themed sidewalk café, it’ll be merchandise galore with butterbeer thrown in as this huge store promises to give shoppers a fully immersive experience.

The store is set to open this summer in Manhattan, near the Flatiron building. According to a press release from Warner Bros. the team believes that New York is the perfect place to open up the biggest merchandise store in the world “It’s the ideal city in which to launch with so many dedicated Wizarding World fans, a cutting-edge retail environment and a community that embraces innovative experiences,” a spokesperson for Warner Bros. said.

The store promises to stock all the Harry Potter products the world has come to love, from chocolate frogs, wands and cloaks, butterbeer and plenty of themed merchandise! The Manhattan branch is also promising some wands exclusive to the flagship store at the instore Ollivander’s too! There’s also set to be a themed sidewalk café, and with a 20,000 square feet location and three floors of potter it’s going to be HUGE!

This week the Wall Street journal has reported that there have been some hold ups on the store opening, as Warner Bros. are looking to have dragons and giant wands outside the store but there are some restrictions on the building.

For now we must just wait for an opening date but you can be sure we’re excited and you have every reason to be too! Once open shoppers will be able to step inside the world of magic, and they don’t even need to be part of the wizarding community to do so, though we’re sure wizards and witches are welcome too.
